Miss Bliss was very good, Alice! Very intersti- Alice: Now I'd like to thank all of those who made this presentation possible... first - my mom! Thanks for giving me a quarter for the gumball machine - HEY! QUIT PUSHING! Miss Bliss: Thank you, Alice! The Alice Saurus was as a dinosaur that was fuzzy and pink. It liked to fool the other dinosaurs by being cute and then eating them.

Hey, at least she’s trying to give credit where it’s due! (that’s better than I would have done)

ok, not relevent to today’s strip, but I heard a rumour that Petey has autism. Is that true, if anyone would know?

Sigh! Poor Alice. Just like at the Oscars. No long-winded thanking of mom, dad, brother, stuffed animal, friends, and every reader of Cul de Sac, or you get the hook! Fuzzy pink dinosaurs seem to have been kinda ruthless.

Alice may be on to something, I read in the paper they now believe the T-rex had feathers.

Careful, Alice. Learn not to hog the stage. You don’t want to grow up to be Bono.

On a totally different subject, I was on the highway this morning next to one of those new Smart Cars. It is so tiny, all I could think of is – a cross between a Honda and a Tonka with a little bit of Cuisinart – just like Mr. Otterloop! Life imitates art???

Okay.A: I don’t know how this turned from Alice’s fuzzy pink dino to rumors of Petey having autism.
B: I think this show and tell went relatively well for Alice this time. At least she wasn’t beaten by ANOTHER duck-shaped potato. Where does Nara find those?

People with Asperger’s are as different as people without Asperger’s. I have three sons, all of whom have been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, and yet it displays itself very differently in each of them. So, while it is very possible that Petey does have Asperger’s since he does exhibit many of the “right” attributes, it doesn’t mean that much in the long run.
