But then I realized: these jocks are entertainers — other people enjoy simply watching them do whatever it is they do. And it’s as much of a comment on our society as anyone needs to make that we reward entertainers more richly than any other line of work. It’s annoying, sad, even tragic…but there it is.
Hmm, I “paid at the office” over the last 45 years, so my VA and Medicare aren’t bad, only small copays. It has to do with either blood, premiums, or taxes I paid to get “single payer”.
