As @readdawg pointed out, the short article in the right bar explains that the comic is updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And, as someone else pointed out recently, Kliban is no longer with us. He died in 1990.
On April 12 we had a cat with a toothbrush smiling into a mirror. Then on the 17th we have the cat at the blackboard. This is Tuesday and Thursday, just like it says on the description. Tomorrow (the 19th) we should have another one.
