It IS important in today’s technology to not put anything on the internet, or on a 911 tape, that you don’t want replayed. Even videos can be “cut” or edited, as in the Rodney King case editing out where he attacked the cops, but “tell tales” can be shown, if anyone cares.

Not racial? Howie, even you must admit that “f-ing coon” is a racial slur, and indicated that race did, in fact, cross this murderer’s mind. The fact that the man stalked and murdered an innocent teenager, and the police feel that they cannot arrest him, shows what a travesty of logic and justice the “Stand Your Ground” law is. Arrest him. If he feels he acted in self defense, he can say so in court. The NRA is out to legalize murder in America.

The first couple minutes of that famous “Rodney KIng” tape showed him get up after being tased, grab an officer by the throat and lifting the officer off the ground.King had a history of arrests, and in fact was stopped on warrants. I always felt the whole case was wrong, because that first few minutes of tape was only shown about two times, and the “beating” endlessly shown, OUT OF CONTEXT!

In the Zimmerman case, the tapes on 911 of the 911 operator, and Zimmerman’s responses, CLEARLY showed an illegal act, even under the Florida law! He was clearly NOT threatened, but the THREAT!

Rodney King’s arrest led to the deaths of over 70 people, for a criminal. The current case, folks ARE remaining “calm” and indeed should, and let the law handle the matter, just as Mr. Zimmerman should have done. He should now face the full consequences of REAL law, not folks’ misinterpretation of law.

^Homicides, burglaries, hard drug sales, minor drug busts, and a kidnapping, solved with arrests, also Secret Service, FBI, and state law enforcement training and certification, and a degree minor, not just out there issuing parking tickets (in point of fact, never wrote one), like you got to explain your great expertise on all subjects, demonstrated here all the time. Oh, right, you deny your degree at the University of Rush.

Give it up ongurard. Go sit in your corner, and suck your thumb. NO not the one you use for THAT!

So, what picture are you trying to paint here, Clay Jones? That every white person on earth that owns a gun is afraid of black people? I take offense at that!!!

@mdavis, it doesn’t follow. trayvon was being hunted, even though the 911 operator told zimmerman not to pursue trayvon.

so if what you say is true, then trayvon was just ‘standing his ground’. or does that only count for non-black people with guns?

This isn’t a racial issue. Its a dumba(word) who thought he was a cop and ended up shooting a kid issue. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/george-zimmerman-trayvon-martin-killer-had-brushes-prior-153033731.html

Actually, there is a great deal of aggreement as to what that comment was (except on the right). But if you don’t believe that, what do you think he ment by “They ALWAYS get away.”Also, unless you are so morbidly obese that you can bearly move, you can reach the back of your head quite easily.

As I posted on Chis Britt:

Below is a poem by Abel Meeropol in 1939, and recorded by Billie Holiday. The only thing that has changed from the 30’s to today is from a rope to a gun…from burning flesh to the burning public outcry that still, in America, blacks are lynched by a gun…just for being black._______________________________________________

Southern trees bear a strange fruit,Blood on the leaves and blood at the root,Black bodies swinging in the Southern breeze,Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees.Pastoral scene of the gallant souththe bulging eyes and the twisted mouthscent of magnoliasweet and freshthen the sudden smell of burning fleshHere is a fruitfor the crows to pluckfor the rain to gatherfor the wind to suckfor the sun to rotfor the tree to dropHere is a strangeand bitter crop_______________________________________________

For all those with a compassionate heart, a love for America and a desire to see it a better place I you will want to see a 2002 PBS documentary about a lynching, and the effects of protest songs and art, entitled Strange Fruit
