Dogs are a lot smarter then we give them credit for.
Feed them 4 or 5 things at the same time it all go’s down.
our dog hates her once a month pill for heart worms and fleas so we grind it up and give her an extra special breakfast to get it down. She can smell it but in order to get the other good stuff she has to eat it.
I grind the pill into a teaspoon of peanut butter – he laps it all up in a heartbeat and asks for more.

I’ve tried everything and the ONLY thing that works with my dog is to shove the pill down his throat with my fingers! I hate it but what can I do??

our little black dog would take her hamberger wrapped pill, Then spit out the pill and finish the hb. then eat the pill. She lived to almost 20 yrs.
why do they eat cat crap but spit out a pill?Dogs are mysterious creatures!
