Letting INSURANCE COMPANIES have a shot at every American to determine their “health care”? How far RIGHT can you get? Authorizing the final “hit” on bin Laden, and others? Getting OUT of Iraq? Assisting in "taking out " Gadaffi?

Oh, right NOT attacking Iran with no cause. Watching the stock market go back over 13,000 after “W” crashed it. Getting folks bailed out on their mortgages. Okay, that kind of “leftie”.

Fo anyone interested:In Illinois, political experts say voting present is a relatively common way for lawmakers to express disapproval of a measure. It can at times help avoid running the risks of voting no, they add. “If you are worried about your next election, the present vote gives you political cover,” said Kent D. Redfield, a professor of political studies at the University of Illinois at Springfield. “This is an option that does not exist [in] every state and reflects Illinois political culture.”Form: Factcheck

Opinions are like assh. . .Well, you know. You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t have one, and had no interest in the political opinion of others. Political cartoons range from the wry observation to bombast, with a generous helping of sardonic satire along the way. But, you know all that, too. Some of us like Obama, or at least find him acceptable, given the alternatives. Others revile him, for certain real or imagined deficiencies, among which seems to be his being somewhat to the “left” of Marx (Karl, not Groucho). For those interested in more thoughtful and somewhat scientific analysis of Obama on the left/right continuum, try this:

    http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/04/29/how-liberal-is-president-obama/

Here are a couple of quotes from the article:President Obama, if you look closely at his positions, is a moderate Republican of the early 1990s. And the Republican Party he’s facing has abandoned many of its best ideas in its effort to oppose him.Another finding is that the Democratic presidents, including Mr. Obama, have often adopted a different strategy than Republicans. Whereas Democratic presidents usually have scores fairly close (but just slightly to the left of) the median Democratic member of Congress, Republican presidents — with the very clear exception of Eisenhower — articulate legislative positions that are equivalent to those held by one of the most conservative members of their party.

Watch the news more carefully. The photo op was a different segment of the K’stone p’line. The northern segemnt was not properly vetted, Nebraska objected to the original route. A revised application may be approved accounting fro Nebraska’s reroute.
