…my old cat TWICE jumped off a second floor balcony in pursuit of bird – actually caught one mid air once, but had to let it go in order to land. Then the balcony became off-limits…
adoo823: That is in the danger zone. Over three stories, cats have time to flatten out and parachute down slowly enough to absorb the landing. Two to three stories and they will frequently get hurt or even killed.
It was “Dastardly and Muttley in their Flying Machines.” Muttley was somewhat villainous, and was Dick Dastardly’s dog, but not always loyal. That was part of his villain-ous-ness.
When I saw the cat above the bird, it reminded me of the pigeon, et cetera. I just couldn’t resist the song!
