The Houston Chron goofed on which cartoon to link to the Baldo page, but as for the shape, several cartoonists now submit their work in both strip and single-panel format.I read somewhere that Wiley was first, with Non Sequitur, but these days, it’s good business to try not to be left out of the shrinking newspaper market just for producing a comic in the wrong shape.
