It’s the Doctor! Bow ties are cool.

So… those who don’t remember history are doomed to waste time fumbling with bow ties?!?

Parents and teachers know that sometimes kids will spend way more time and energy avoiding what they are supposed to do than it would take to do it. Kids. Ya can’t live with ‘em and you can’t pop ’em in the nose…

The problem with history is, it accumulates. Kids today have a lot more history to learn than I did.

I used to wear one all the time. Butterfly. Tied them myself.

He probably had a clip on the back of the tie. He looks like a professor.

At my school, it is the opposite

The majority of men who wear bow ties, do so because the majority of men do not.When I was a photographer and had to wear a tie while shooting, I found it easier to wear a bow tie to keep it out of the way. Now bow ties are the only one’s I’ll wear as the long ones seem really annoying. plus people remember you better.

I’m absolutely certain Matt Smith is to blame for this in some way…

Anyone else think he looks like the Eleventh Doctor? He’s got the tweed and the bowtie (bowties are cool) and everything!

His hair reminds me a little of Dagwood… all he needs is a shirt with one big button in the middle.
