Ozzie was in the wrong place to make that comment, but he didn’t say anything wrong. He didn’t advocate his policies or his government or anything like that. He simply said he admired the guy for being a survivor. It’s the intolerance of the Cuban community that strikes me as most egregious sin in this whole story.
