Easier? Ha! So far, nearly all the mama-based drama has been in everybody’s head. They need to make drum up some real tension soon or else they won’t be able to wrap up all the loose ends in 9 panels or less. Hopefully it’ll be golf season very soon.
Wouldn’t it be a real kicker that Jaxon is Gil and Mimi’s grandson. That’s why we never hear about their kids because the son skipped town when he found out he was going to be a father.
kdizzle is spot on. Gilfan, if Mimi addresses Darby as a soldier, next time Jaxon acts up, is she to channel her inner Lee Van Cleef from “The Good, Bad and Ugly” and remark, at ease half soldier?
Yes. Because just springing the kid on Mimi right before the opening pitch is a better strategy than telling her before the season starts. Coaches just love that.
julep, I’m wondering myself if Kenny Lark has been working on his short game……I’m strangely bored with this story line, where the hell is Brody Abro? Is Marshall Lopat in the service already?

Mimi knows just how to make “problems” like that disappear.

Darby has looked anywhere from 16 to 42 years old, depending on what day you look at the strip. It’s very disorienting.

Maybe he aged trying to hold on until the wedding.

“Settle down, soldier.” Mimi is channeling that inner John Wayne.

I’ve seen this horror movie before. In the end, it turns out the “child” is actually a small adult.
