Nancy by Olivia Jaimes for April 27, 2012
Transcript:
I read that he was coming to town- so I pulled my old box of 45s down- and got out my old moldy Sears hi-fi as the records played in the years flew by- I was young again- and so was my soul- in this lullaby of rock 'n roll- I'm hooked on a feeling- I always have been- and I can't help believing again- thank you, BJ, for reminding me- how perfect old songs can make new memories

Fritzi will always be young. Nice to see Nancy appearing through a doorway, as Fritzi often does.

What’s better than celebrating every pop singer to ever have a hit record? Tomorrow they’ll be doing a tribute to Nena and “99 Luft Balloons”!

In then years they will re-do this strip with Cassettes and then in 20 years with CD’s. I wonder where Fritzi gets needles for the player?

This strip was one of the best. It made me long for my record player and records. I remember listening to the Beatles, the Osmonds, John Denver, and Abba. I had 45s such as Heart Of Gold, Crocodile Rock, Saturday Night, and Tony Orlando and Dawn.
