I’m torn here. I want to defend Romney but I’m all for ridiculing Mormonism.

(What does this have to do with Mormonism? As I understand it, they believe that the universe is filled with souls waiting to be born so they can move on the next level of existence. This requires all good Mormons to have as many children as they can afford. So if you’re as rich as Romney,…)

mitt actually favors parenthood planning — he wants every man to have five wives at once — he wants each wife to have five kids

There is plenty to dislike about the Romneys without bringing their religion into it. Willard comes across, at best, like a slimy used car salesman and the more you learn about him the less you like what you see. Anne Romney seems very removed from everyday realities of most people. All the hyperventilating and false equivalence by the usual suspects in the corporate media anytime any criticism is directed their way is not going to change that.

Yea, must be nice to know you don’t have to leave to work or worry if you miss a day’s pay because you or your kid is sick, or your company goes belly up, you’re late because you have a flat tire. You know LIFE HAPPENS.

Ann Romney is a cheap target! How about a cartoon depicting Obama’s family taking an African vacation on the taxpayer’s dime?

I am always entertained by American politics. Romney with his 5 kids as a good Mormon should makes me think how many more billion people this planet would have if every couple had the same or more (like the “scholarly” Justice Scalia) offspring. I always thought that the least ridiculous candidate would win and then we had the now missing in action W.

This comic always has been mean-spirited and ham-handed. Not clever in the least. So, in a way I’m not surprised it’s going after someone with MS. You stay classy.

Actually, this is tame. Wait until after the conventions. Obama and his socialists will lie their heads off.

You didn’t actually dispute his point of fact. From the Mormon “Journal of Discourse”:“We were first begotten as spirit babies in heaven and then born naturally on earth”You could have countered with an actual fact related to the cartoon. The Mormon Church does not ban the use of birth control. Mitt Romney on the other hand, has joined other Republicans in calling for cutoff of public funding to Planned Parenthood, and generally restricting women’s access to family planning services. The cartoon is not about Romney’s faith, it’s about his politics.

That is what they have in Ireland I guess. I knew someone from there and she had 11 kids. They were all cute kids, but she always seemed to be tired.
