Posting that you don’t love this strip anymore makes some people crazy, they tell you to stop posting or just stop reading. But I don’t want to give up on this strip and I take my comics seriously. Anyway, it’s all been said by others more astute than myself. We’re waiting for the change to come that will hopefully make this strip more entertaining. It’s tough to think of a worse stretch than the whole dopey stolen car bit and then Arlo and the church organ spitting out money the day he arrives and now a devilish pussycat crashing Clovia’s computer. I mean no harm to anyone who’s enjoyed this stuff but wow is it nowhere.
I remember many years ago I had 2 kittens. One day they ran into my bedroom and a moment later I heard a loud CRASH coming from my livingroom. I learned that you can’t keep anything nice in your home until the kittens grow up and even then you must expect your furniture to be scratching posts. It’s worth it though..
I used to look forward every morning to reading this strip to see Uncle Walt and the gang. It is no longer Gasoline Alley. Perhaps the name of the strip should be changed. Great artwork and cute stories but not about what this strip is supposed to be about.
I have 3 outdoor cats – and there’s a reason they are outdoor cats. They are too destructive indoors and don’t know how to keep their paws off my counters or keep out of the trash. I also have 1 indoor cat that was bestowed upon me with much unwillingness on my part. But it was either I take the kitten or he’d be another statistic at the animal shelter. He has turned into a good cat over the past 4 years. He looked a lot like Lucky when he was a kitten. Now he’s a very large, sleek black cat and I love him.As for this strip, I will stick with GA through thick and thin. There have been changes with the strip through the decades that I’ve read it and I’m not giving up on it now. I love the artwork and once in awhile we get a jewel shine through.

This theme can be nursed along for about two more weeks,….. but I’ll still keep checking it.

I’m pretty in agreement with Buzza Wuzza.
