we had everyone put name and date on everything. anything unnamed, over 3 days old or in the frig monday morning at start time, (excluding condiments and unopened cans/bottles) went out. everyone participated with a relish. (no pun intended.)
Where I work, the fridge is cleaned out every Friday at 5:00. Anything in the refrigerator gets thrown out, so if you don’t want it thrown out, take it home over the weekend.
I like the idea of putting a name and date on everything. Some places, they just give people a warning the day before and throw out everything, and I mean everything, including that string cheese stuff that’s prepackaged and seems to last forever.

I put this one up on the Fridge at work, seemed to help keep the “crud” level down for a month or two.

Well, they put a name and date on every cartoon, here – so you can tell when a strip is being recycled from October, I guess…

Do you think Roy would leave food to expire in the fridge?
