I guess 6pm is better than getting dragged out of bed before dawn to get shot. (We still have the firing squad in Utah.)

Having just had yet another man released for a murder he did not commit and who had been stitched up by crooked police officers, I’m glad we don’t have the death penalty here.

What turned me against the death penalty, once and for all, was when we started seeing so many death row inmates exonerated through the introduction of new DNA evidence.

Defense attorneys seem to be the same way as DAs, even though the intent of the law is for justice to be served!

It’s not so much that he failed, because he is such a bad driver, they just don’t want to let him loose on their roads.

And then there was the case of a man accused of rape, but cleared by the DNA evidence – almost. On a hunch, his DNA was compared with other cases and matched a rape ten years earlier two states away! (Oh well, win some, lose some!)

Execution of criminals is usually midnight in a lot of other states. And I think that 28 year old man should forget driving and use public transportation. Something’s amiss with him. It’s ashame too.

Death Penalty: Pro: No recidivism (can’t commit more crime/s)Con: Can’t resuscitate wrongly convicted individual/s.

Maybe Happy Hour starts at 6pm at the local tavern, so they all want to get out of work and get down and party!

Yes England does have a brutal driving test. It is due to get even harder later this year. There is NO WAY anyone can pass the test in England without having a good course of driving lessons, even if you have driven for years in another country. The rules are extensive and sometimes complicated. The emphasis is on safe driving with the focus on how will what you do effect other drivers, bicyclists or pedestrians. That’s a good thing!
