uh oh!! i beleive i called this the other day when is aid that kassie wasnt as innocent as she seemed! i dont think the other members of the mumbles quartet are gonna be around for long… seems like theyre gonna turn on mumbles, and if THAT happens.. then THEYRE next in line for the barracuda or the muerte vines! by the way.. with the intgroduction of kassie ette, theres the SIXTH villain to round out the stated “at least six villains’ deaths” that mike had commented on a while back

Back on 5/9, Tess tells Tracy that someone he knows (presumably Mumbles) filed for the insurance money. Wouldn’t it have made more sense for Kass to do that?

Can’t wait to see how this works out.

Suddenly Mumbles is such a self-righteous thief? It looks to me as though there is no honor. Geyesloopy….

The Mumbles quartette originally had no names. So I named them after friends of mine who had been editors at Marvel Comics. Vince (Fago) Roy (Thomas and Stan (do I have to say?)

Since this discussion has started, may I say a few words? I am a Bible believing Christian. I do not understand everything, but I seek to follow Jesus in my daily life. The Scriptures make clear that homosexuality is a problem that exists because we live in a fallen world apart from God. It is not something to be celebrated, the way much of today’s media tries to do. This does NOT mean that I hate – I do not hate. I approach this subject with much prayer and loving concern. Thank you.

On a much lighter subject, may I compliment Joe on his art today! Panel 2 appears to be a shot of Mumbles in a mirror, as he adjusts his tie, and we are seeing the mirror image. I’ve seen this done on t.v. – but this is the first time I can remember seeing it in a comic strip. Nice job!

You said – “there are a lot of things wrong in the bible” -

There are historically accurate reports of men and women doing things that are clearly wrong, but there are no theological or doctrinal errors. We can trust the Bible to learn about God and His relationship to us.

Calm down, people, and drop the whole gay cop issue. I doubt TMS would ever approve of one due to the controversy it would arouse on both sides of the issue. A number of posts here illustrate what would happen.

Let’s just enjoy the adventures of Dick Tracy and his comrades and family.

You are correct – we are not living in a theocracy today. But, even if we were, the severe rules and regulations spelled out in Leviticus would not apply. Why? Because, Christ has come! The death and ressurrection of Jesus Christ means we are living in the Age of Grace. This does not mean, however, that we are free to live however we want without consequences. Metaphorically speaking, if you walk through a mud puddle, you will get dirty feet. If my Savior tells me, in His word, that something will hurt me, it is in my best interest to avoid it.This is way too deep a subject to be covered properly on a comic strip comment site , but I tried to tell you what I believe without offending you.

I’ve had gay friends, neighbors and co-workers, and the only thing unnatural about them is the abject, wet-their-pants fear they cause some people, and the unthinking anger they cause others.Historically, we’ve seen the Bible used to justify slavery, segregation, bigotry, torture, and centuries of bloodshed. In fact, I’m sure that, if there is a bias, someone has found a justifcation for it in Bible. The Bible is far too complex for an idiot like me, so I just keep in mind lessons like honesty, forgiveness, and caring for others.

Hey, didn’t want to sow dissension. In any case I believe in the right to life, libert and the pursuit of happiness for all,

Groovy was a hippie cop, and fell in love with Lizz. I think more of Whitehall who was dropped in that deserted island withDick Tracy.Seeing that Kassie is in cahoots with Mumbles, I wouldn`t trust anything she said to Tess.

The scripture can be discarded as a bunch of ancient errors and myths. The Declaration of Human Right has seen to that.

If the Old Testament is still active, why are you eating pork? Or is the Bible ala carte: you pick and choose which verses you want to obey and ignore the rest?
