Well, I normally would agree with you as I feel that the cat sometimes nearly takes over the strip for months at a time, but this was a sweet variation. Actually, it just reminded me to call my own Mother, so that may be the reason why I am a bit more charitable towards Kitty than usual.

Cats are terrific mothers and it is nice to see her kitten remember this..Peekaboo is the reason I started reading this strip and never get too much of her.

Pasquale is such a great kid, it might have been tough to come up with a gesture that was over the top. Bring in Peekaboo’s mom is unexpected (and, as Otto says, sweet).

Aw, I thought this was great. I would far rather have this strip than some sickly sweet Pasquale/Rose comic. This one was actually pretty funny. :)
