Did this ever work for you, Charlie Brown?

He told Lucy to do this too.

“We may win the ballgame, but he’s ruining my face!”

A true classic. If you know the strip, it’s easy to guess where this is going.

You may feel like a fool, Snoopy.

    But you’re actually COOL.

And extremely adorable at the same time.

Charlie Brown is not looking, so you don’t have to still smile Snoopy.

Most motivational speeches make me think the speaker is the fool.

The team itself isn’t bad, it’s Charlie Brown. They usually win when Brown doesn’t play, and he just steps up to the plate every time. As one person said in an earlier strip, he should stay on the bench and be a manager, and let everyone else play.

Typical of ballplayers. Reggie Jackson never changed his glasses in cloudy weather.
