I think there is a good reason they were written that way and Pearl needs to remember that.

according to the long isl medium, there are no angry ghosts, they’re all happy to come back & tell you how wonderful you were & are lol.

He would probably live the rest of his life in peace and quietness.

My Grandma died after 56 years of marriage. Four or five years later, my Granddaddy remarried at age 82. His new wife was so mean and hateful, and my mom was so stressed over the situation, that she and my dad made a pact: If one passed away and the other remarried, the first one would come back and haunt the other!

i’ve always assumed that Earl & Opal are Mormons since they often have a picture of a Mormon temple hanging on the wall, which is a thing Mormons do. If they are Mormons, then they were married in one such temple “For Time & All Eternity.” So Opal should know that Earl CAN’T get married again.

Opal doesn’t look like Casper…And defiantly not friendly.

That is a trick question if ever I saw one! hehe!

So Opal believes in the afterworld….interesting or maybe just hers…
