    I’m still very confused! She offered to help them figure out their finances, inventory system, business related stuff. Why is she cooking?! That help they don’t need.

    I have a number of favorite restaurants where I am a regular and I make it a point to keep a running dialog with the chef. If something is not right or I a have a preference in preparation, I make it known. The chefs and I are both happy with the results and I tip well. There are local blogs (small town, 75k) where you can write critiques on local restaurants and rate them.
