So Marx has made amends Enough to get them talking And seems at home with friends Out casually walking I chuckled at the ship With no person in charge With reference to a film (He did say “Buy n Large”) “Lucranians,” he explains From “lucre” (cash) perhaps? I guess Wally and Holly and Petey (oh my) need to know about the Lucranians because they will be meeting them, and it sounds to be highly entertaining. The Brave Little Toasted was not highly prized by the Lucranians.
But I really want to promote VOTING today, and congratulate the team for their success in advancing the interests of Endtown2.0 and Doc Rat at topwebcomics.com/ .
Ten days ago Endtown2.0 and Doc Rat were tied at #52. Five days ago, Endtown2.0 #47, Doc Rat #50. Two days ago, Endtown2.0 #40, Doc Rat #47. Earlier tonight, Endtown2.0 #37, Doc Rat #43.Keep up the good work. Advancing through the ranks at this level takes real dedication. And it isn’t too far for significant advances tonight and in Tuesday,(and a good part of Wednesday for those West of the Int’l Date Line). Everyone who has been able to vote can really be proud of keeping Endtown2.0 and Doc Rat in the top one percent of all the art tracked by topwebcomics, 5175 strips are competing at TWC. Push just a little harder and who knows how high we can show our appreciation for Aaron Neathery and Jenner.
Aside to Aaron: Thanks for answering my question about Petey’s #3 the other day. It recalled a comic bit from a comic years ago. The little foreign fellow on special teams.
“Sorry Aaron, but Jenner’s done a lot to support you I didn’t think you mind a plug”The two men are good friends. There’s no problem in promoting both strips here. Doc Rat does have a good, active forum already. Starting another one here would split resources. It’s best to visit the Doc Rat forum and show your support there.
I’m sure Josh the Troll is really enjoying all the banter about his prominence here; that is, in fact, what they live for. I suggest no further mention of the twit. As said on other sites where the trolls attempted to ridicule and criticize the artist and his creation…“Don’t Feed the Trolls!” After a while of being ignored because their ego was being starved, they usually went away. However a few did stay and eventually joined the community of followers.
Uh, for those of you that can see the pix in TSOJ’s post. I purchased the 12 Apr 12 strip and had it framed. Thought I’d share it with you, so you could see what a nice piece of art it could be for your home/room/apartment. The piece at the top of the frame is Aaron’s mini-comic, followed by the strip as you all saw it, then the original artwork and, finally, a silver plaque that reads: Endtown, By Aaron Neathery, 12 Apr 2012. The other picture is the artwork itself, as purchased from Aaron. As I hope you can see, it’s worth putting your pennies aside for. (Yes, I ended the sentence with a preposition.) :-)
WOW! Miss going to the site for one day and miss one storm of comments. Very entertaining read though. As for the length and detail of Aaron story arcs…thats one of the major reasons I love Endtown! Keep up the good work Aaron.
I’m sorry surf! I guessI was being too sublte. I was responding to the post where you wrote:
“If Josh mutated awake or asleep, he’d be like the monster who needed the teddy bear.”
Remember, we all referred to that monster as “Sandy”, and Holly identified her as a child. The insult comment was made tounge in cheek. Sandy was a frightened child, reacting in the only way she could. Josh, on the other hand, was a grownup acting childishly.
Hmm, I feel like I’ve really missed something with all this talk of Josh, and I don’t see a single comment of his hear, not that it seems his were anything worth reading. Trolls are like fungus, they grow everywhere, and really flourish where the $#it flies.
Ok maybe I’m just plain blind, but I could not find anything about this “Josh” and his comment. But maybe it is better that way. I only like to read comments from all you who love this comic like I do. I have been a silent reader for a couple of years, but like now never had anything intelligent to say.Just love Endtown and all your comments.

The Lucranians sound an awful lot like the way the Ferengi were described in ST-DS9.

Now surf, no need to go insulting Sandy that way. She really was just a little kid. Josh only acted like one.

Given the way the stories kept changing yesterday, my guess would be chameleon. ;-)

At this point, Petey is more like a pepper grinder… or a rice steamer… (to go with his mood).

So, Wally & holly DID pass by the edge of the propellor — the ship moved just enough to save them and mess up Petey’s trajectory.

So is that what Flask was talking to? A Lucranian? Or was she talking to Dittos? Strange and stranger…

Petey just might put his head down at AM’s knees and turn on his propeller. I bet he wouldn’t call him “ashcan” and “salt shaker” then!

About Josh, I saw his name over at Molly and the bear. But he said "goodbye, Endtown.
I don’t remember, did he have trouble getting along with people? It seemed strange, what he said.
