At least you had accomplish something TEACHERS!!!

I can’t stand it when athletes showboat for doing their job (like a tackle making a tackle). A home run and acing a quiz, though, are both a bit special.

That really is the best part of being a teacher….well….except maybe for June, July and August!

I had to read it twice to get it,. then thought awwww, that’s sweet.

Here’s to the wonderful teachers in our lives. My parents moved a lot when I was young…I went to 19 different grade schools…and while leaving friends wasn’t the best, knowing all those GREAT teachers, their methods and love, has been really good for me ALL my life…thanks to you all, each and every one…the direct transmission of culture, teachers, librarians, our families, and kind adults…

Actually clipped this one out of the newspaper today, thought the batting coach looks more like the Detroit Tigers great manager Jim Leyland.

This reminds me of a study done some years ago. Kids who were having trouble in class were instructed by the researchers to ask the teacher to explain something and after the explanation say “Oh, now I understand.” Their grades improved noticeably.

Teachers – we’re not in it for the income, we’re in it for the outcome!

I really like that teacher. And @praidt, what does that mean, sucking up to the teacher got them better grades?
