Overall, this story line has been interesting so far and has potential to be good, but like others on here have pointed out, typical high school students today would not be making fun of this girl for having gotten pregnant. This is more like something that may have happened in the 70s.

Something very odd about the proportions in panel 2. If the first baseman is digging in, she should be pretty close to the catcher. And if she is, she must be about the size of Eddie Gaedel, the midget who once batted for the St. Louis Browns. Clearly, if the catcher (Amanda, I guess) stood up, the batter would barely reach her waist.

Darby’s Rattled

I think it’s Darby who’s doing the rattling. I sense a bench-clearing brawl coming.

Hey, based on that artwork in P3, it looks like that dirty, rotten, cheating Goshen girl is tucking her number into her shorts to shrink that strike zone. Where’s that burly umpire who was all over poor Jaxon in the dugout on this one?

Apparently the new pitcher is Cole Hamels.

I thought Gil might show up in P3!
