dogs can to see TV. I know of one that goes absolutely nuts everytime he sees a dog on TV, especially in comercials for dog food. He just sits and watches.
Dogs can’t make sense of CRT type TV because it is really made up of scan lines that take 1/30 second to do a full frame. Dog vision operates fast enough that this does not give them the illusion of a moving picture. Flat screen tv does not scan that way, so dogs do see the moving picture.

Ours ignore the TV. One who passed away a couple years would only watch the Westminster Dog Show.
