WOO HOO!! – We got the air conditioner working! Instead of having to spend $5000 for a new unit, we changed out a $275 circuit board. Runs as good as new. The outside unit still looks like you-know-what, but what the hey? It works!
@DAVID, nice that your house is coming along. As for my NY apartment, my roommate’s brother has come to NY from Guyana and has helped me organize 2 cluttered closets, a job that was too overwhelming for me to do alone. Next the balcony. Meanwhile, I’m making a list of all my books and on what shelves they’re located and putting the info on an email I’m sending to myself.
I fasted last night and this morning took a blood test; I’ll know the results in a week.
Good Afternoon Everyone..Well we finally got some rain last night and hopeing we get some more over the next couple of days..SweetBill: Glad to hear you made it safely to you summer house..David: It’s always great to look at a big money fix and find out that you can get the job done for a lot less and without total replacement. It sounds like you are making great progress on fixing up your home..Ladies: It has been to hot here to bake bread. Hopefully with the rain and cooler weather I too shall do some bread baking.:).
Doc said he believes the A_FIB isn’t very serious. He prescribed an alternate nedication instead of one I;m taking now. Wait and see?>>>>>>Had a terrible time getting a cab here. Had a 12:15 pick-up time arranged. Wound up making four calls before i finally got one to come. Fortunately, my appointment was for 1:00 P.M. Got there at 1:30. Was in, done, on the way home before 2:00 P.M.Don’t like appointments. :-(
