REX MORGAN: Will Iris use the double tragedy of the loss of her husband and mother as an excuse to indulge in alcohol. Bull! Maybe it’s because I never aquired a taste for alcohol (except for cocktails, which I now drink minus the alcohol), but a misfortune in life is no excuse for using drugs or alcohol. When I get blue I read a book, listen to music, call a friend. Eating something sweet would be my worst reaction.
MARY WORTH: How did the caterer know how many people will show up? What about seating arrangements. I still would like to know if the team manager, who refused to pass Gina’s message on to Bobby, will be there.
APT3G: How long before Mimi forgives her husband? She didn’t even comment on the painted nursery. That’s understandable since she’s not really interested in anything about the baby.
FLORCHI: I plan on going to the suburb of Ringelheim in the town of Salzgitter, near Hannover. My great grandmother’s maiden name was Ringelheim and everyone after 1773 named Ringelheim is related to me, even though my ggrandmother was born in what is now Poland. I wanna find out the connection between the suburb and my ggrandmother’s family name.(email: aryeb@hotmail.com)
Apartment 3-G – Booooring!Judge Parker – Only place big enough? He obviously hasn’t considered a church wedding.Mandrake – Nestor seems hypnotized.Mark Trail – OK. We seem to be starting a new story. Do we know who Trish Jackson is?Phantom – Now Ernesto has to regain his son’s respect.Rex Morgan – @Arye, I agree.
@TehCHASING MIDNIGHT (book): A P.S. to review posted late yesterday. After some consideration, I think that author Randy Wayne White has shifted the genre in the newer “Doc Ford” novels and by doing so has not met the expectations of many long-time readers (such as myself). We are disappointed. However, a new reader (such as yourself), may enjoy the newer books, such as Midnight – coming to it without expectations. In other words, I am thinking that the novels are still good and worthy of reading…just different than the earlier books in the series. I look forward to your review/comments.
A3G – Nina, the workaholic, is not going to work? She is truly depressed.JP – David, my thoughts exactly.Rex – June and Iris are having a good conversation. I hope it helps Iris to talk about this double whammy.Phantom – Now Victor knows Ernesto is alive. Losing his son’s respect may lead to a turn-around in his life. The question remains, whether Ernesto or Phantom will feel that the law requires charges to be brought.Mandrake – I hope he’s hypnotized and not injured.Mark Trail – I gather that the previous mention of email did not disrupt his plans to go fishing with Rusty and this is happening after they got back. Trish must be a child or he wouldn’t call her “honey”, would he?
One of my ggrandfathers – my father’s maternal GF Behr, was born in Herford, Westfalen, Preussen (according to familysearch.com), and came to the U.S. in the 1860s. Another, my mother’s paternal grandfather, LeiVan, was born in Tier, Germany. I run into a stone wall on this branch because I think there was a name change. Census records for both list Germany as home though I think both may have been from Prussia.
