Too bad we really can’t pick up the funnies anymore with Silly Putty. The ink is different. (I’ve heard the WSJ ink is old-school, but they don’t run comics!)
This comic strip will only make sense to those of us who used to use Silly Putty to pull impressions from the comic pages. Do they even MAKE Silly Putty any more?
Does anyone know why they call it “going commando”? I first heard it years ago on an episode of “Friends”, and it seems to have caught on. Do commandos not wear skivies? Any ex-commandos want to chime in on this?
From the Scots regiments of her majesty’s forces. Regulation uniform of kilt does not include drawers except for a drum major, whose parade job includes steps that risk indecency without. But the rest of the troops are commando beneath the kilt, just as any good Scot is in the kilt.
We always called it “going regimental”, referring to the Scot regiments and their kilts (as also mentioned by sithech). I don’t know the real reason why others call it “going commando”.

The Eva side of Mark pranked Lio.

Double standard. If Mark did that to Eva, he would be sued.
