There go the moral and ethical implications. Self preservation overrides most things.

This must be time travel week in comics land. Both Calvin & Hobbes and Monty are traversing the fourth dimension. And every week is time travel week for Peanuts. BTW, I hope this black and white treatment is a temporary glitch.

If Monty and the Professor can’t link up with the other time traveler I think their return to their own time has been iced.

Monty is being a jerk (jerk, get it?As in, he jerked the Time Travel Watch off Doc’s wrist and into the briney deeps?), but self-preservation must outweigh Time Travel Regulations. The question is, is shouting “iceberg!” on a doomed ship in any way conducive to self-preservation?!

Maybe it’s black and white cos they didn’t have color yet back then….or maybe….Sherrrifff!!! Did you lose your crayons???

The black and white slip-up happens to us at Working Daze too, sometimes. It’s a complex technological issue…

They are ultimately responsible for this tragedy…because…get ready…it happened under their watch…(good grief, I think even Pastis is above this!)

That’s pretty durn funny. Go grab a couple of Rose’s Picassos and then figure how you’re going to build a life raft or a super-insulated wetsuit.
