Gladys: Oh, I can help you with that - a truffle is a fancy type of mushroom... Gladys: They are valued in gourmet cuisine, especially in parts of Europe... Gladys: Truffles are very hard to find - they grow wild in the forest, underground, near the roots of certain trees... Gladys: Pigs are trained to find them because they can smell the truffles, even buried several feet underground! Isn't that incredible? Brutus: Your mother is like that with chocolate!

Brutus finally got Gladys back from all the insults she pounds into him.
It’s strange for a grade school kid to do a report on truffles.

I’d rather Gladys had a yen for truffles than for chocolate truffles; she might be able to afford one or two of the mushroom variety, instead of pigging out (again) on the chocolate ones.
