Flip-flopping is when you change your position for political expediency. Mr. Obama always supported gay marriage, he just lied for four years to get elected.
If he really wanted to support same-sex marriage, the President should have announced that he opposed it. Then all the Republicans, baggers and RWNJs would have automatically opposed him and flip-flopped in its favor.
