Liquid with vegetable matter and sugar, plus time = beer. Sure it doesn’t taste great, but ask someone about their first taste of beer.

Has anyone realized that beer (and all alcohols) are derived from the waste liquid of bacteria?

That’s why only a certain percentage of alcohol can be generated without distillation – it kills the bacteria that generate it!
