Mrs. O’Leary’s cow has been eaten by a fire breathing dragon. I don’t think Chicago is completely out of danger.

So, it wasn’t Mrs. O’Leary’s cow kicking over a lantern that caused the fire. It was Mrs. O’Leary’s cow that made the dragon burp that caused the fire — but nobody believes in dragons, so they have to blame it on a lantern.

It is not that either. No one really knows what caused the Great Chicago Fire, but based on most everyone’s reading of the evidence, the cow did not cause the fire. Also don’t forget about Prestigo. (if you don’t know where that was, look it up via your favorite search engine.)
