Look at their blank, dead faces in the last panel.
“That… that sure was a nice thing to learn. Are we even trying to be funny anymore?”
“Wait, am I the rich guy or the poor guy? We’ve been trapped in this blue fog for so long that I’m forgetting my old life. I think I had a wife and worked somewhere.”
Well, the initial invention may have been by a female, but she sold the rights to it to a company since she wasn´t able to manufacture them herself – and as such (obviously) lost loads of cash on the invention. Therefor most people wouldn´t know about it being a woman inventing it I´d assume and can as such be a male dominated invention (and ofc also all kinds of s/m gear).
Actually, women did burn bras in the 60s. I remember it. It was inspired, if that’s the right term, but the burning of draft cards by young men. Regardless of who invented them, women were not wanting to wear them or girdles or nylons and so on at that time. Clothing was very restrictive then, much more so than now. Probably invented by a woman who was tired of guys not noticing her womanhood.

Totally untrue. The push-up bra was designed as a form of male domination. It’s a way to dominate any male who sees one.

So they should’ve burned their high heels?

Not true. I had a lady friend that was injured badly during that bra-burning period. She forgot to take it off first…
