MARY WORTH: Can anyone tell me the story of the couple that Mary encounters in today’s strip? Again, my old complaint: Why can’t the illustrator draw people with curly or wiry hair as well as straight hair. And maybe it’s time to include minority people among the characters, not playing stereotyped parts, but part of the story.
REX MORGAN: Again iris is unprepared: First she forgot her lipstick – or was it an excuse to take another swig. Then she should have used the ladies room before leaving Rex’s house. Most likely she will meet Mabel while searching for the ladies room and BOOM!
APT3G: Margo is now playing the part of Ann Landers or her twin, Dear Abby.
Rex – Yeah, she has one of those bottles in her purse.A3G – Isn’t jealousy pretty much the same thing as lack of trust and didn’t Scott begin this conversation with “how can I get Nina to trust me again”?Judge – Prepared for Sam or prepared to fish?Mary Worth – Are we leaving Dawn crying for more feel good congratulations?
RM: I agree that Iris and Mabel are probably going to run into each other “in one of the back rooms”!MW: There is a long list of character links at http://maryworthandme.blogspot.com/. However, neither “Howie” nor “Carm” are on the list. Who are these folks?MT: This more or less repeats an earlier conversation between Mark & Gene. Did someone else use Gene’s rifle to commit the murder?JP: Good question, marvee.MANDRAKE: The music stops and the dust settles…and it wasn’t the end of the world, after all.
Mandrake – The fissure is no longer there, Was this all a hallucination brought on by their fears, with some help from Mandrake? I wonder if the organ is intact.Phantom – Behind the mask – is that Ernesto or Walker? Ernesto isn’t completely recuperated.

Mandrake: Not end of the world, just end of the organ. Perhaps because they only had a few bars of the music to play?
