I’ve been hearing that a lot of the concussions are happening at the High School (secondary to you World readers) level and just get worse the more they play. I agree with you, @vwdualnomand: The NFL has to do something to either help those affected or in the game. Something similar to the “face-guard” penalty, perhaps, that wouldn’t detract from the Game, and yet keep the players relatively safe.
The way things are going, he is going to need a bigger broom and a much bigger carpet!! How many currently undiagnosed head injuries are going to come to light in the future? Can’t hide ’em all!!!

Don’t forget how many high schoolers have been damaged for life, or killed, on the alter of this “sport”.
