How could he hit his head? In the previous two panels he wasn’t even under the car when the cat jumped on him.

You would think by now Slim and Clovia in their early 60s would show some signs of aging. A touch of gray/glasses etc. Although we all know some 60s who still look great they don’t need to dye their hair or wear glasses.

I have to complain about the sound effects. Shouldn’t it be a “thump” in the last panel? “KaBlang” is more of a metal-on-metal sound. Unless,……

Sim would not have banged his head of Lucky had not jumped on him startling Slim. I do not think Lucky is so Lucky a cat.

Shouldn’t Slim figure out whether the snake is poisonous or non-poisonous before he goes after it?

imbob says I’m betting that Lucky has lept in to save Slim from the cobra that lurks under the car; and he, Lucky, will die in Slim’s arms as the copbra, with his forked tongue hanging down and out and x’s where his eyes were is hauled off by the low-swinging “sweet chariot”

What is the large coil? Is that a normal part of a car or was it up on a lift? Could be very dangerous for Slim.

@marveeWhat is the large coil? Is that a normal part of a car or was it up on a lift?"It’s a strut assembly common to front wheel drives today, but the spring shouldn’t be visible unless it’s up on a lift, as you say, where the front wheels would be ‘dangling’….Springs would be visible on the rear trailing arms of a FWD car… Still, the effect of ‘’Under The Car’ is apparent..
