Hey, I head that Arizona is going to secede from the union, again! (And, yeah, I know that Arizona wasn’t a State yet back in 1861. I’m just hyperbolizing). So, once they declare themselves an independent country, all citizens from that great state won’t have to pay any U.S. taxes! Personally, I’m packing my bags, updating my passport and heading South West. Good luck with that “Health Care” thing. See ya!
King Grover of Norquist, whom so many of the Repugnicans have sworn fealty to over their duty to the good of the country says that trying to stop billionaires from paying taxes is like Nazism or Apartheid:
“I think Schumer can probably find the legislation to do this. It existed in Germany in the 1930s and Rhodesia in the ’70s and in South Africa as well,” said Norquist. “He probably just plagiarized it and translated it from the original German.”
Unfortunately, the idea of dumping facebook because of this guys lack of respect for the country that made him rich isn’t a bad idea. I would love to see the stock drop to zilch and he lose all his money and citizenship.
What an irony that to protect his rights to his own property he has to give up being an American. We shouldn’t be complaining about him; we should be complaining about a Euro-American welfare state that assumes that what’s his is ours.
Here’s my offer: You keep or give away what’s yours and I keep or give away what’s mine. It’s called freedom. Deal?
America was founded on a proudly selfish ethics of YOUR right to YOUR life, YOUR liberty, and the pursuit of YOUR happiness. For the first time in history a citizen belonged to himself, not to the king in his palace or the local nobleman in his fortress or the tribal chief in his mud hut.
Spamguard calls me a “Randroid”. The insult implies an unthinking belief. But unthinking belief is what has taught most people to assume that self-interest is a terrible thing. As Ayn Rand used to say, “Check your premises”.
Vern: How do you not see that checking your premises is an invitation to independent thought? You sound like you’ve never read Ayn Rand. Prove me wrong. Spam: Your criticisms are based on premises she explicitly disproved. You not only have never read Ayn Rand but are merely parroting attacks by her enemies. Sounds like an anti-Randroid to me.Everyone else: Never believe anything anyone (yes, including me!) says about Ayn Rand without reading her and judging for yourself. Then judge Vern, Spam, and me and decide who’s right.

Slick move by Doucheberg. Now kick him out of the country. If he’s in Arizona, it would be easier.
