So… Lucy finds some “security” in throwing her weight around, using force & clobbering others’ rights who are minding their own business. She grew up and changed her name to Nancy Pelosi.
Kids have had security blankets for ages. My older son couldn’t part with his “bankey-boo”. It’s their way of feeling that they’re never alone and all is at peace with them. Lucy has some problems. In this day and age, she’d be the patient instead of the doctor.
Orinoco: That line is a paraphrase from the movie “Arsenic and Old Lace”; Mortimer Brewster makes the comment “Insanity runs in my family: it practically gallops!”In the movie, Mortimer Brewster was played by Cary Grant.

I’m not sure if you’ll see this but I hope you haven’t been thinking that I’ve been ignoring you since I haven’t spoke to you in a while.
I’ve saw you a few times on Andy Capp. I really should of said Hi to you.
I left you a message on Peanuts 5th July but I don’t think you saw it.
Hope you’re doing good!
