sure, there were always ways of getting around some moms’ unreasonable edicts……weapon-shaped sticks (tree parts) were always easy to be found……..and a kid with Calvin’s imagination should have no trouble

Using twigs for guns would be the same as playing with guns because Calvin’s imagination and reality are not always fully separated.
