Hi Mrs. B.I posted at the end of the night so you might of missed it, but….In order of priorities:House at the end of the street won’t work. I don’t like anything furry and flying – childhood trauma from the Wizard of Oz.Birds are fine.Speaking of birds, let’s try your cage first ( better supervision).BTW Capt. Pierre le Nez likes both of you. He’s had as taste of your brownies and thinks they’re terrific! It’s been a long day and I can’t remember what else I wanted to tell you. I’ll talk to you later. Have a great night/morning.
Sorry to be late for the reenactment….My toga was at the cleaners…. I forgot about all the catsup stains from last year’s Battle of Carthage.I think the Monkey had his future role as Ballard County Sheriff in mind when he chose his Legionnaire costume…I didn’t have the heart to tell him “wrong Legion” after he’d already commissioned a beautiful campaign portrait….and that writer from Argosy was SO excited to be getting the story.
Ahhh…. Dogsniff … I think oyu are correct. One is indeed capeless.
Radish…. not on Ballard Street.
Beviek — do you think we need to ask the ladies’ auxiliary of the Ballard Street Potluck, Afghan, Tole-painting and Homeless Outreach Society (B.S PATHOS) to make these poor twins some pants?
Linguist…. I am indeed happy to welcome you to Ballard Street…. I know we have had some political differences vis-à-vis our friend the Monkey and his political ambitions….But our whole community stands behind every individual’s right to be different….even a bit odd…. even a bit incredibly eccentric, like that Mrs. Maypole who just last Friday…but I digress. The point is that I trust you will vote your conscience, but not stand in the way of the public will….(and the fair election of our Future Sheriff MonkeyBlues! )
BTW I myself do not actually live on Ballard St…. I take the number 67 bus here early every morning….then usually take a long nap in the apartment I keep above Susan Sunshine’s Ballard Street Unisex, Unispecies Hair, Manicure and Pedicure Salon, featuring x_Tech industries patented color-changing tint process…(that’s what I’ve decided to have on the new sign I ordered from those nice boys at T.H.E. Neon…can’t wait to see what it says when I get it.Sometimes I do stay at the salon for several days, particularly after parties, Whimsical Wednesdays, and long campaign strategy sessions. That reminds me…Beviek….You don’t have to lose your place or your comment to look at yesterday’s forum.Instead of clicking the little red triangle/arrow that takes you back, just RIGHT click it and select “open in a new window.”For that matter, FireFox, a subject we’ll get back to one of these days when I catch up with myself, does a much better job than other browsers of hanging on to comments when you navigate away and return….Sometimes after accidentally closing a page you can even re-open it from the History menu, as a “recently closed Window”… with your comment or e-mail intact! But I don’t count on that — I keep my main comics page open, and then open forums, Google searches, etc, in new windows.
One ore thing before I sleep — x_Tech, help!Or anybody who can figure this out….YouTube has stopped working for me altogether…anybody else having this problem?
I read that it’s because Flash and FireFox both upgraded the same day, and one or the other has implemented “safety” features supposedly to prevent malicious attacks, but also, I’m sure, to stop the downloading of videos. One forum suggested disabling the download feature of RealPlayer…. but RealPlayer is already disabled in my FireFox….I’ve been playing with other settings but all I get on YouTube is still a black window and an error message.
Since everybody else seems to be still asleep, and I obviously had too much coffee already, Bev, I’ll take care of the “Find Essex60” balloons on my way to the salon.Hope I can sleep.
Romulus and Remus Bellamy, along with their dog, Spartacus (“Sparky”), wait patiently for the bus to take them to the Legionnaire Try-outs. When they first wore their costumes to march in the Ballard St. Parade, they never dreamed that it could lead to possible full-time employment. A life-long obsession with all things Roman may now turn into a steady income for the twins.
Here’s a charming, Ballard St. traditional pink cottage (you may have noticed several around here). The owners, the Bellamy twins, have just put in a bid for the Italian villa down the street. It looks like it might be the perfect size for you. The only drawback is that it is listed on the Ballard St. Historic Home Register, and the color scheme cannot be changed.

The old woman who lives here is now experiencing “Empty Shoe Syndrome” as all the children have graduated and gone on to professional careers. She feels a small ballet flat would more suit her needs. She’s anxious to sell, so I think this may be a bargain!

If you like a bright, colorful home with lots of light, this is for you! There are (at last count) 17 rooms, all approximately 6′×6′ and no hallways. One bathroom, a galley kitchen and it’s only a block away from the center of town!
===========
And, this is my personal favorite, since it’s one of my houses. I particularly like to stay here and wear my chicken costume. And, it’s located right in the center of town. I could let it go for a song (I choose the song).
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++My apologies for disappearing pictures last night. With the uncertain real estate market, homeowners are jumpy and buyers are snatching up property right and left.
Munkeys got uh pryvate party at the Tki Bar and Pool sched fer tomorra, Mah band mates ar all gonna be there… Won’t have alotta time fer postin today n tonite… Y’all are welcum to swing by, since yer all fambly an such… Cheers!!!
I LOVE the Bellamy twins. Will always remember the firstone I saw…One sitting on the knee of other twin and thecaption said, “The Bellamy twins have remained close”.Reminded me of my twin nephews!! Jerry A. is genius.
Um…. Beviek….Did you run that slogan past the Monkey? He might love it…. but I just wanna make sure, before printing signs, that he’s OK about "chasing blues away… "since he makes part of his living playing the blues….nowhadimean?
Meanwhile….Monkey, Monkey he’s our…. um… man…(?)If HE can’t do it NO one can!
That one needs a re-think…. sigh….BTW I’m having a busy day too….did you see my post to you way back there about opening new pages?
“But I’m not volunteering! ;)”++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++What a daunting task that would be! You DO need a score card! Especially x-Tech’s many enterprises! (speaking of score, my underscore key doesn’t work every so often. x-Tech’s name is one of those instances. That’s why I use caps instead of italics. very annoying!)
