This is shocking news. I am shocked that a 17-18 year old boy would not be interested in being a father figure to someone elses kid. Maybe Bobby was only spoke to Darby’s parents as well because they were dating.

It’s not surprising that Bobby didn’t want to act as Jaxon’s father figure. But why pretend? Don’t pursue Darby if you don’t want to be involved in the kid’s life, too. Of course, Bobby’s no different from a lot of 40-year-olds in that regard.

And so on Monday there will be some casual reference to the baseball/softball season being over and then it’s on to some new adventure.

not that I was looking back to the beginning of this storyline, but I have to wonder if the little boy’s name was a nod to the late Jack Jackson, who was one of the early underground comics creators, who signed his work “JAXON”

Hate to say @stupid idiot — anyway, you could be right. But it’s true that the Milford calendar doesn’t usually mesh with real time.
