    Amen to that. As evidenced by California (of all places!!!) this strangling effect of unions and their pensions is being challenged by the electorate. As a heavily taxed California resident I’m glad to see this continuing…

    Fact: FDR said that public sector unions were “impossible.” Now, FDR was a HUGE government progressive, but he was at least sensible about what and what wasn’t possible. Collective bargaining using the public’s money can’t work like it does with other unions, simply because when they strike, they strike against taxpayers. To progressives of old, that was unthinkable. To progressives today, it’s a fundamental “human right.” Meanwhile, FEDERAL workers CANNOT collectively bargain!!! Why aren’t you progressives out there protesting against OBAMA for his inhumanity against people working under HIM?
