Obviously she COULD believe he’d use it, or she wouldn’t have tried to hide it like that.

Even though he is in the wrong, there is a weird logic to what Zack said.

Jan, have you told him not to use your makeup or wear your clothes? You never know where implied consent will lead.

It may be a stupid thing to say, but its true – if she didn´t want him to use it she should just have said so and he would “know” in advance. Packing it down like a christmas present jsut invites kids to open it before christmas so to speak.

I’m thinking back to my youth. IF my mother even HAD a CC (which she did not), and I used it like that, I would have been thinking about how long it would be until I could sit down again AND dreading the thought of when Dad would get home. The “stuff” would REALLY hit the fan then!

When my son was little, his mind worked that way, too. But, you didn’t SAY I couldn’t…I tried MANY times to convince him that it wasn’t possible to enumerate EVERY no-no in the entire world. It never worked (because he did not WANT to understand it!)
