Laura; Adam, you need to get started on cleaning out the basement. Adam; I've got all Summer to tackle that. Laura; I don't want you doing your usual trick of putting things off indefinitely. Adam; I don't do that. As a matter of fact, I just cleaned out our gutters. Laura; The ones still covered Christmas lights? Adam; Why should Christmas get all the fun? Summer needs light, too, honey.

I used to have my Christmas lights up all year. It was a great way to direct people to my house for parties. “Look for the Christmas lights.” Of course, they were white so it wasn’t too weird.

I think cleaning out the basement is a “we” job, not just a job for one. Come on Laura, put your hair up in a pony tail and pitch in.

We have an eight-foot Christmas tree in our sun room. It weighs so much and is so much trouble, we just leave it up all the time.
