Well, the big bunny-head may not have been a first-rate idea, but you must grant that Private Duckling is shaping up pretty quickly! Looks like he is going to fit into this duck’s army as a real duck’s duck!

At least Duck isn’t a PEEP! Now that would be scary!!!!! Maybe he should smoke cigars. A tiny duck wearing a large bunny head, with a cigar in his mouth would be “SMOKING”!!!!!

I hope it isn’t ANOTHER macho dude gets saddled with effeminate offspring, or his ‘edge’ leached from him by his realization(!) that he has been too tough, he must cultivate his ‘better’ self and interact at civilians’ level…yeah, bend over, kids, and read about LIBOR. Not only is the plot too trite THAT way, but we need some MAD…

And if the ducking kid had been any fun REALLY, Pig would have noticed his adorableness and never given him(HER?) away.Hmmmm. If aforesaid duckling pre-adult fuzzball unit is a female…that changes things. Girls can be tough, and beautifully tough-minded.What about the change-over in adult keeper/“responsible adult” nominally in charge that would elicit the sudden bunny head change? Or is this, “Hey, what about some rabbit head?” Hmmm again.

Lascivious…Pastis is telling us a joke again…I don’t even know how to spell it. Pastis

Or maybe GD gets a chance to hand-raise one of his own the way she should be? if he isn’t related, we’d get to see THAT one played out. How would thqat work, anyway? wasn’t that what “My Fair Lady” was originally about?

    al·right   [awl-rahyt] Show IPAadverball right.

Can be confused:  all right, alright (see usage note at the current entry ).

Usage noteThe form alright as a one-word spelling of the phrase all right in all of its senses probably arose by analogy with such words as already and altogether. Although alright is a common spelling in written dialogue and in other types of informal writing, all right is used in more formal, edited writing.

And, somehow, I just don’t see LGD being very formal.

PIG is the commanding officer??? I always thought he was the girl scout leader type. Somehow he does not seem the right kind of guy to tell LGD whom to obliterate. Some army!

    Gawrsh…. I…uh….

blush… … didn’t know anyone had ever even seen my bejeebers…. oh my …

Meanwhile, Aces, if you see this….Pig is Li’l Guard Duck’s owner, not his commanding officer. As I recall, Pig bought him as a watch-duck because guard dogs were too expensive…Everyone laughed at the idea, but only until they ran up against one very angry duck. However, LGD still accepts that he belongs to Pig.
