Golf, it’s a rough sport — so many injuries.

caddies always reminded me of those lawn jockeys one used to always see in yards here in the South. Or maybe lawn jockeys reminded me of caddies. Either way, the only summer job I could imagine being more hellishly boring was maintaining office supplies for a CPA.

Steve the older brother…a war veteran…could be suffering from…you name it.

It may be hard to believe @Cliff1911, but golf sends more amature athletes to the ER than any other sport. There are many reasons, like the overall physical condition of many that play the game to ankle, knee, and back injuries that result from the way you wind up your body and then rapidly unwind it while driving the ball. Personally, i dont classify golf as a sport, but a leisure time activity that requires skill. Like bowling or darts or archery.

Maybe Steve is really the Incredible Hulk. He’ll get mad & smash the caddy bullies.

Poor Noah. It looks like he got the Rodney Dangerfield bag with the stereo in it.

Caddying is the one job every youg man should do once in his life. I caddied for 5 /12 years and during that time I learned how to play golf, gamble, and swear.

Golf is just an excuse to go out in the woods with your buds and drink beer.

Panel two confuses me. Why is he exchanging clubs with a man in an apron?

@grshprnh. Could we have a mutated case of EES? Or does Steve suffer from elephantiasis of the hands which have lives of their own?

P1 – The story line is SOOOO obvious. Steve used to be an astronaut in the Space Shuttle program. Though the program has been scrapped, he still misses the missions and the ground support. He needs time for Obama to be gone.

Perhaps it’s Steve Austin recuperating from his bionic surgeries. By football season Gil will have an athlete who is “better, stronger, faster.”
