Mary Worth: I think we have seen the last of Wilbur and Dawn for a while. Thank heavens.Rex Morgan: So Foster did hit it big.Mark Trail: I wonder how far the bear will chase them? At least Mark has the rifle now.
REX MORGAN: If Foster won $25,000 with his last dollar, where did he get the money to get a cashier’s check with it? I can’t imagine him leaving the casino with so much cash; Mabel must have had some knowledge of the bulge.
MARY WORTH: Is it possible that Dawn is the letter writer and she has no knowledge that her father is an advice columnist?
APT3G: I told you that Scott and Tommie should have stayed on the phone while Tommie is travelling there.
Judge Parker – I hope someone notices the plants before the pictures get published in the magazine.Mark Trail – Well, how many of us didn’t see this coming? Still, it’s good artwork.Phantom – Nice use of the knife. Yesterday I thought Phantom was going to chuck it at Victor.Rex Morgan – I love the expression on Rex’s face!
MARY WORTH: Mary has a green desk chair alsoAPT3G: they could have been safely at the hospital by now though maybe ambulances cannot move as quickly through New York as they would in a suburban area GASOLINE ALLEY: today’s strip is “pixelized”MARK TRAIL: I’m anxious to see how Mark is hiding in the caveJUDGE PARKER: the vintage JP strip I’m reading is from 1968
A3G – How does Nina know something is wrong? She didn’t read the books, she just responded with fear because of what happened to her mother. If something is wrong, all the more reason to call an ambulance.Mark Trail – If the bear actually begins to maul one of them, Mark will save them, then take them in.Rex and Judge – Interesting story lines but not progressing very fast, so no comment today.Phantom – This plan seems more implausibleto me than most.
AfterthoughtsJudge Parker – I think the “fishing journal” is his own private diary. Working with Hollywood so much, I’m surprised he wouldn’t recognize marijuana.Rex – I still don’t see what difference this makes, but perhaps it will be revealed. I doubt that they actually pay that amount in cash. Bells go off and you wait for casino staff to come. I think they just verify the winnings and reset the machine for the next customer. The payment would be made in the office by check or cashier’s check. They would have to get your social security number so they can report it to the IRS. If he owed the casino money, they would probably take that out.
@ Arye: MARY WORTH – It will be great if it this strip continues to go back and forth between Dawn/Wilbur & Mary doing her thing as “Ask Wanda” (and maybe Dawn IS or will be a letter writer requesting advice).@ davidf42: JUDGE PARKER – I love it! Avery quickly recovers from his fall and starts taking pictures…however, if the marijuana farmers are nearby and watching, the photography won’t go over very well with them. @ marvee: MARK TRAIL: I can barely wait to see what happens next!@ Teh: PHANTOM: I believe you posted that this story arc started in August of last year…do you sense it’s going to wrap up at about the 1 year mark? Following the drug cartel/lucha libre storyline has caused me to have a greater interest in the upcoming elections in Mexico (on Sunday). Woo Hoo for the comics! REUTERS

REX- The slot pays out in metal chips, which you then turn infor cash
3G- Nina looks so calm-panel#3- I think, maybe false labor!
MW- Dawn should e-mail “Dear Wendy” and get Mary’s take on her prob.
JP- “Garden of TLC”- I don’t know how that relates to fishin’If he gets caught by the plot owners- he’ll be in deep do-do
