Yes, and this vacillation is what got us Obamacare which combines some of the worst ideas of the Democrats with some of the worst ideas of the Republicans, mixes in a dollop of back room deals, and delegates more legislative and judicial authority upon the HHS Department to fill in the blanks that they just couldn’t address in 2700 pages. Unfortunately, John Roberts apparently got cold feet and was unwilling to grant us a much-needed do-over. They did manage to declare the Medicaid expansion unconstitutional, though, by a 7-2 margin, potentially nullifying the provisions that were to “insure” about 17 million new people. Nice work, Barack, Nancy, and Harry.
Scotty, Scotty, Scotty…surely you remember those great ideas Heritage and Romney floated and made happen? I know you have more memory than that…and don’t be so quick on the angry trigger. You’re more fun the other way…
Don’t let anything come between you and the bean counter at your Health Care Co. Of course until they drop you when you need them. then you can all complain to deaf ears.
Because they can’t drop people, everyone else’s costs will go up. More people will be forced into Medicaid (approximately half of the 32 million), and lots of employers will likely drop health coverage, forcing people into the exchanges.
Or you can just pay a penalty (oops, a tax) and wait until you get sick before you get insurance. That’s such a great idea. I’d love to be able to wait until after my house catches fire to buy property and casualty insurance, and to buy an extended warranty for my electronics after they break.
