OK, I have a technical question. Vampires cannot be killed except by a few select methods, such as a wooden stake through the heart. One would think that decapitation would be on the list of effective ways to kill a vampire, but if it’s not, how does the vampire survive such a malady? Does he reattach the head to the body? Grow a new head? Grow a new body? If he can grow both a new head and a new body, do you wind up with two vampires? (Having two Garys for a while could be a fun little story line.)
Decapitate, stuff the mouth with consecrated hosts, sew lips shut, bury at midnight in the middle of a crossroads with the head placed face down between the legs.

—Which goes to demon-strate (heh heh) the old adage about the cure being worse than the disease….

Maybe it won’t kill Gary, but it would probably hurt like hell.

If you’re going to do something, do it properly!
